Organge Oriental Chicken & Aspragus

In a small sauce pan heat up the following ingredients:

juice of 1 orange

DIY At Home Skin Tightening and Firming Wrap for Stretch Marks and Lose Skin

So late at night on the eve of my 20th day weigh in and measurements and my husband got creative with me. I was sharing wanting to purchase some It Works body wraps. He speculated that he could make a lotion just as effective from things we already have.

30 minutes later I'm wrapped up in ceran wrap from my boobs to my butt. We looked up the ingredients list for It Works body wraps and used products we already have such as facial mask supplements lotions, etc that contained the It Work ingredients the closest. Now we were definitively missing things like Ivy leaf extract and horse chestnut seed extract. However the results were phenomenal. 

To put this in perspective...two days ago, 8am in the morning before eating or drinking my waist was 38.25". Tonight at 10:30 after a full day of bloat my waist measured at 40". My hips (not the widest part) where I wear my pants was 50". I drew a couple lines where I put the measuring tape to make sure I put it in the same place for the after measurements.

After 45 minutes of laying on the couch with a crazy intense tingling I finally took off the wrap and starting wiping off the gritty lotion. My husband immediately exclaimed "you lost a lot, there's a big difference". I looked in the mirror and couldn't tell right away as I was more focused on wanting to getting the menthol tingle off of my skin. I took my measurements and to my surprise I had lost far more than I expected.

Waist: 38"
Hips: 47 1/2 

I'm still kind of amazed but my tshirt does suddenly feel a more lose over my stomach. I feel like I'm sucking in even though I'm not. I'm interested to sleep on it and see what my true 20 day weigh in and measurements are. In 72 hours I'm going to do another abdominal wrap. I think tomorrow I'll do a wrap on my thighs and see what results I get. My husband wants to try it too.

I used the same lotion on my thighs and butt today, same thing, I sat for 45 minutes, then rinsed it off. The measurements didn't reveal anything different, but the skin definitely feels a lot tighter and firmer. I'll see in a couple days if there's an unusually high decrease in my thigh measurements. I know that if some of the lotions for wraps need to soak into your skin for a prolonged period of time. So in a 1 or 2 morning there could be a big difference. I'll update if there is a difference in my thighs. 

Hubby pooped out on doing the waist wrap before and after today, but I'll get him to do it with me in the next week. I'm curious to see any differences on my waist after 2 second wrap and about 24 hours have passed.  

Day 20 Phase 2 HCG

226.4 this morning. I am kind of constipated which happens on HCG so I'm blaming that for the less than a pound gain. After today I'll be halfway done. I'm excited for tomorrow's halfway point weigh in a measurements. I've been up for almost 3 hours and have like no energy. I'm going to have an early breakfast at 11:30am and have my coffee with an apple and Melba Toast. 

I posted my workout regimen for today through June 11, my Ultimate goal date. To reiterate June 11 I go to the dr and have my IUD removed which will allow me to get knocked up by my exceedingly handsome husband. But I'm worried that I've I don't reach my goal weight of 185 by June 11 I won't be the exceedingly beautiful wife I enjoy being. Don't get me wrong it's nothing about a skewed body image. I weighed 200 when I got pregnant with my son and it was manageable. As you can see below I'm tall enough that 200 pounds doesn't looks half bad. My goal is 185, 15 pounds less than I was the first time I got pregnant. Once I get my IUD out I plan on continuing to eat healthy and exercise and potentially lose an additional 20 pounds to reach my high school weight of 165.

Finished the Boxer Babe 10 minute workout. I wasn't sure about if the intensity would be too much for my fitness level, but I kept up with it pretty well. There were points that I had to pause to quickly catch my breath or my pace was slower, but I worked up a good sweat and I felt it in my abs. Going to drink some water then repeat Day 5 of my ab & Butt challenge:

30 sit ups/12 crunches/12 leg rises/30 sec plank
30 squats/10 bridges/20 lunges

Rick's off work at 5:30 and it looks like clear weather to drag the family out for a jog in. Hopefully today it will actually happen. I'm hoping since I made the set workout plan it will make it easier for me to stick to it.

The rain came by the time the hubby was home from work. It was dark and cold so we stayed in and got creative coming up with a great At Home DIY Body Wrap for Stretch Marks & Lose Skin. It turned out amazing and I think I gave myself a great boost for tomorrow's 20 day epic weigh in and measurements update. I think I'll wake up and be really pleasantly surprised. 

Like I mentioned I haven't felt up to eat much for the last week, but in the essence of having a fun evening I went for a creative and new dinner that turned out really great. I got an idea to make a thick orange type glaze sauce and put it over chicken & asparagus chunks cooked over some oil on a cast iron skillet to get that great flavoring a cast iron skillet creates. My husband ended up making the sauce for me while I was indulging in some deep relaxation while our DIY wrap did it's work. I cooked up the chicken and asparagus and both of our efforts made one of the best meals I've had in a couple weeks. It was such  flavorful amazing dish.

It's been a good evening and I'm feeling pumped up again to continue on from my half way point. I was feeling drained and bummed, but I guess that excited motivated attitude came back full back just in the nick of time. These next 3 weeks will be awesome. Time to get some deep amazing rest and let my practices for the day take full effect.

DIY Acrylic Purple Glitter Nails


I decided to buy the products to do acrylic nails and try them out myself at home. My husband got involved and after one decent and basic set of white tips created with our combo of looking up instructions and watching Youtube videos, we created this hand of glitter purple tips. I don't remember who did which finger but it's our second try each and that's what came of it. You can tell there's a difference in shaping; some more round, some more square. Not bad I think! Remember this is only try #2, painting on the right consistency of the acrylic powder and the acrylic liquid seemed way easier the second try around. One of those things it really helps to sleep on it after you did it once, then try it again. I think I took off the first set after only 1 1/2 weeks to try out this design which was my hubby's idea to try the purple glitter. 

Here I'll list everything I bought to do a DIY acrylic manicure. 

Day 19 Phase 2 HCG

225.8 this morning. I'm sure by the weekend I'll have hit that 20 pounds weight loss mark. I was aiming for 25 by this weekend but 20 is still very good. I decided to skip the protein for my breakfast and instead have coffee right away this morning with skim milk and Stevia. 

At 1 I enjoyed a pickle and a Melba toast. About an hour later I squeezed the juice from an orange and drank it. It was very good and I wish I could have had a dozen oranges. 

Right now I'm counting down for a late mid day meal around 6:30. Appetite is still very diminished. I may just have an apple and call it good. As the day has done on I've gotten more and more sore all over my core from yesterday's two minute workout. I wanted to do another one gain today, but I feel like I can barely move. 

I gotta make tater salad for the boys. Potato salad is one of my fav things. I can eat a large bowl of it in one day. On this day, however, I won't be having any. Not even a lick. Any amount of sugar or starch that I'm not supposed to have can ruin my whole diet and at nearly half way done I'm not about to mess it up now. I can bum out that I still have 3 weeks like, but that's not too bad considering the least 3 weeks are over now and I made it out alive. I've lost 20 pounds and a bunch of inches and feel great. So I'll ignore the increidble potato salad and keep my eye on the prize. 

Timer is going off, time to do drop, get the little man set up for his dinner and start this tater salad. I'll have half a grapefruit in 30 minutes.

Thicker and Longer Eye Lashes

Browsing the world wide web and stumbled upon a tip that if you apply Vaseline to your eye lashes each night, in two weeks you'll have fuller, longer and thicker eye lashes. I decided to Google this tip and come to find out it works and not just for lashes but for eye brows as well. If your eye brows are thinning and don't have a defined line you can apply Vaseline to get back those defined eyebrows. 

Of course there's so much junk on this internet I decided I'll need to be testing this myself. I'll be updating again end of May 14' with my  before pic. I think I'll try this Vaseline trick out on my eye lashes for 3 weeks and take a 3 pics each at a 1-week interval. 

Maybe I can get my mom to join in on the fun and take her before and after pics as well.
